YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be writing about this. Over the lsat year so much medical stuff has been thrown at me, and I just thought okay now what. I hated taking a backseat and allowing someone else to dictate what happened with my body.

In January I started to make some healthy choices for me and began to change my diet. I removed red meat, pork, and veal. I also switched from diary to almond milk. I still wasn’t 100% though. Yesterday though I was put in touch with a lady that has totally changed how I look at food. I have been taught how to read food labels. How to make sure I am getting fiber into me and how to keep track of the sugar I eat. It is actually a whole lot easier then what I thought. Knowledge of what you are eating is key.

My vison of health is starting to change know as I feel empowered. I feel like I actual]y have a choice. Am I going to be healthy and strong or sick and unhappy. The decision is now mine.
