DIFFERENT KINDS
When I began to think about relationships today I wanted to talk about all the different kinds of relationships in my life. Each one of these relationships are important to me in there own way.
- Family- To me family is very important to me. I was brought up in a very supportive family. We are there to love and support each other at all times.
2. Mother and Daughter- The relationship that I share with my daughter is a truly blessed one. Growing up I was not there for my daughter other then in physical body. I now have a relationship with her that I am there for her on every level. She has allowed me to have a wonderful relationship with my granddaughter. The relationship that I have with my mom is a very solid one. She is one of my biggest supporters. She is one of my rock.
3. Husband- The relationship that I have with my husband is one of absolute faith and love. We have been together for 30 years. We are each others soul mates.
4. Friends- For me friends are there for a life time. We are there to love and support each other through the good times and the bad.
5. acquaintances- For me acquaintances can be co-workers, neighbours or people in the community that I know. I know them to say hi and carry on a short conversation.
6. Myself- The relationship that I have with myself is building every day. I try to make it positive by building myself up with the things I tell myself rather than negative. For putting myself as important and taking time for me is a new concept.
7. Higher Power- I don’t have a name for my higher power. I just know in my soul that my higher power is there to go through life with me and to love and support me.
8. Nature- For me during the summer my relationship with nature is one of peace. I spend time outside in the summer. Spending that time allows me to feel a real connection with my inner and outer body. In the winter this connection is not as strong as I don’t spend as much outside. To cold. Spending more time outside though is something I can look at.
So as you can see I have many relationships. How many do you have.
