LUNCH FOR THE OFFICE

With my husband now battling diabetes are new concern is what does he take for lunch. Eating fast food everyday is not the healthiest of ideas. So I did some research then we went grocery shopping.

Walking into the grocery store with him was really hard. He kept wanting those quick go to things. I have to remember this is all new to him and to me still. What information I did find is try to find a bread higher in fibre. Being higher in fibre apparently helps slow down the absorption of sugar into the blood. We found some wraps that were high in fibre. We also got some lean chicken and turkey. He also picked out some fruit that he would eat.

Changing your diet doesn’t happen over night. Each change that is made though is a step forward. For me I believe healthy food equals a healthy body and mind.
