PASSION

For me growing up I was full of passion and dreams. I was always told growing up that the world is your oyster. Do with it what you want. We were encouraged to challenge ourselves to reach for the stars. How many of you were brought up with the same philosophy? As a kid I was so excited to see the start of each day. As the years passed I became busier and busier with responsibilities. I had a wonderful career. When I started my career out of university I loved my job. The busier and busier I got my passion died and inside I grew sicker and sicker. By the end I hated my job and ended up were I am now off on disability.

That passion is something that I need to kick start inside of me. I am working on being that person that is excited to get up everyday. I am starting to kick start that idea of the world is my oyster. Now my passion is my family and my volunteer work as well as keeping myself healthy and strong. We weren’t made to hate each and everyday we were meant to enjoy each and everyday. I can’t tell you what my future holds. All I can tell you is I have pledged to myself to enjoy each and everyday to the best of my ability.

SOME DAYS BEING AN ADULT CAN REALLY SUCK. I JUST WANT TO BE THAT KID AGAIN FULL OF PASSION AND DREAMS.
