TID BITS TO MAKE THIS TIME OF YEAR EASIER:

These are some steps that I have put into place last year that have really helped to try and keep me calm with less anxiety.

  1. No matter what is going on that day I make sure I get up at least 1 hour earlier so I can have some time for me to just sit and have a coffee and do what ever I did to get a positive mindset.

2. If I have a project to do like baking or homemade gifts I schedule it over several days that way I am not overwhelmed.

3. I take a similar approach to the hosting of Christmas parties and dinners. What I can do ahead of time I do? Leaving less rushing day of. I also plan a menu and say to those coming who wants to bring what? Sharing the tasks leaves less for me to worry about.

4. House cleaning. When I know the house needs to cleaned I have always divided that up over days. That way I don’t wear myself out.
