BUSY

It has been several weeks since I have posted a blog. I did update myself and read all of the blogs you all put out.

Life has been very different the last couple of weeks. Not only is my Kidney bad they are concerned about some of my levels. Also they know I have an autoimmune disorder just not sure what yet. I see a specialist this week, hopefully she can give me some direction. Anyway that disease has ramped up 100% over the last month. So needless to say I have been very busy resting and looking after me. When I get those points where I have a bit of strength I am usually in front of a computer as I haven’t given up any of my volunteer work as I wasn’t expecting this to happen. I have been able to hand over some things but there are projects we are in the middle of that it would be to hard to step away from.

Thankfully we are doing Easter at my daughters. We are going to go and get my mother in-law on Friday for the weekend. That way she can come to dinner with us at my daughters. My dilemma here is how much do I share with them. They already know about the chronic kidney disease. Do I just put on a happy face and not worry about everything else. I am not big on keeping secrets but how much do I share. It’s not like they can do anything about it. Maybe this is a subject to take up with my psychiatrist. I don’t want to become a burden or have them treat me any differently because I am sick. I don’t want my mother in-law worrying. I know she will because have seen it happen before. Feedback on this would be wonderful.
