
This topic I have done some research on as healthy boundaries as always been hard for me to set.
UNHEALTHY BOUNDARIES
- invasion of privacy
- giving unsolicited advice or judgement
- making comments that aren’t necessary ( could be hurtful)
HEALTHY BOUNDARIES
- taking each others feelings into consideration
- being honest
- giving space and avoiding codependent behaviors
- showing respect for differing opinions or feelings
Living in a family with healthy boundaries is a much easier relationship. It takes a lot of work though as some people may not be open to this. The only relationship you have complete say over is the one with yourself.
