RESET AND UNWIND

It seems like where ever I go I hear these words. People telling people that they need to reset and unwind. I am going to start by defining both of words this morning and see where it goes from there. Reset means to set again or new. Unwind means to cause to uncoil, to release from tension.

I can understand the word unwind. To release tension that is something I will be doing at my mom’s. The word reset for me brings back the times when shock treatments where used to reset my brain. I need to find a different word for me to use rather then reset. I think the word I could use is reprioritize. To take the time to refocus my priorities. This is also part of what I can focus on while at my mom’s. The time to recharge me.
