INNER CARE
For me inner care is becoming a vital part of my life. For a large part of my adult life it has been me taking care of everybody else. For me I saw self care as selfish, something that I could put off for others, it was not a priority in my life.
Now that inner self care is becoming important in my life for me I need to make it second nature. In order to make it second nature right now it is a scheduled part of my day. In the morning l schedule a mediation and an exercise time before I start my day. If need be I can slot a mediation in during the day as they are usually 5 to 10 minutes long. As well I make sure I get the dog out at least twice. At the end of the day I do a gratitude journal of what I am grateful for that day and why. It is my hope that over time it will become second nature.
