In Canada we have a holiday today known as Family Day. To me this holiday seems really unnecessary. For me I celebrate my family and friends all of the time. I don’t need a special day to spend it with my family. It is nice but not necessary. I was brought up under the values and morals that family is your lifeline and Sunday night dinner was a must. Unless you had a really good excuse.
I do understand that for a lot of people this holiday is necessary. Most people live very busy lives and to have a day where they can appreciate there family is important. Spend as much time as you can connected to your family and friends.
