
This is something that I am always working on being kind to myself. There are many different forms of self-care. The problem with self care and me is that I am always having to remind myself that it is not selfish and I do deserve it.
Here is a list of self care and self-kindness things that I try to do for myself:
- Positive thinking. I try to stay on top of this throughout the day.
- Build breaks into my day. I build something I like to do into here, going for a walk, reading a book, watching a t.v. program
- Mediation and conscious breathing throughout the day really helps me to remain calm and focused. Conscious breathing is where you put your focus on your breath to slow you down.
- I like to go twice a month to get my nails done. I will throw a pedicure into there as well just not as often.
- I have also started a skin care regime. It includes a really light foundation that I can put on in the morning. This i helping me to see the glow in my face which helps my spirit.
- Food. I put a lot of time care and planning into the meals I eat. I consider part of my self care plan and geared to improve my health.
- Also I am know bringing in a house keeper once a month to help with the heavy cleaning.
These are some tips and trick’s that I find useful. You may be completely different. Find out what works for you with self-care and put it into place. Self care and self-kindness is extremely important.


That’s a good idea to get a housekeeper in for heavier cleaning. I should probably think about doing that.
