Loving yourself is nothing to be embarrassed about
Saying I love you in a mirror can be hard to do
Loving inner me didn’t seem possible
The monster in me didn’t deserve it
With practice even though I didn’t believe it
The monster dies more and more with each I Love You
I have heard it said “allow us to love you until you love yourself”
This quote to me is gold
We could all use my lessons of say I Love you to ourselves
